Privacy Policy

What ClockCards keeps on your device, what purchase providers receive, and the controls available to you.

Effective August 7, 2026 · English

1. Local-first study data

ClockCards stores decks, cards, prompts, answers, alarms, schedules, study attempts, mastery progress, reports, theme, and accessibility preferences locally on your device. ClockCards does not require an account and does not operate cloud synchronization in this release.

Your study-card content is not sent to RevenueCat or Apple by ClockCards. Local data may be included in device backups according to the backup settings and services you choose.

2. Purchases and Premium access

ClockCards uses Apple's App Store and RevenueCat to display, process, validate, restore, and manage Premium purchases. These providers may process an anonymous app-user identifier, product and offering identifiers, transaction and subscription status, storefront region, currency, device/app technical information, and purchase receipts needed to provide the service.

Apple processes billing information under its own privacy terms. ClockCards does not receive or store full payment-card details. RevenueCat data is used for purchase functionality, entitlement status, restoration, and aggregate subscription operations.

3. Diagnostics, analytics, and advertising

This release does not configure a third-party crash-reporting or general behavioral-analytics SDK. ClockCards disables RevenueCat automatic attribution-device identifier collection and SDK diagnostics in production.

ClockCards contains no advertising SDK, personalized ads, or cross-app tracking. Development logs are designed not to include deck text, card answers, payment credentials, or private keys.

4. Sharing, permissions, and notifications

A progress report leaves ClockCards only when you deliberately use the operating system's share action and choose a destination. ClockCards uses notification and alarm permissions only for alarms, Wake Missions, and related reliability notices.

You control permissions in system settings. Revoking a permission may prevent the related feature from working, but it does not send study content to the developer.

5. Deleting your data

The in-app Delete local data control stops active ClockCards audio, cancels ClockCards schedules, and removes local profiles, decks, cards, alarms, attempts, reports, drafts, and preferences. Removing the app may also remove local data, subject to operating-system backup behavior.

Purchase ownership and transaction records are maintained by Apple and RevenueCat under their obligations and can be checked through Restore Purchases. Deleting ClockCards does not cancel an active subscription.

6. Your choices and privacy rights

You may delete local app data, manage notification and alarm permissions, cancel a recurring subscription through Apple, and contact ClockCards about privacy questions concerning developer-controlled information.

Because ClockCards has no account or cloud study database, the developer generally cannot identify or retrieve study content stored only on your device. Requests about Apple or RevenueCat records may need to be directed to that provider.

7. Children

ClockCards is intended for users aged 13 and older and is not directed to children under 13. The developer does not knowingly collect personal study data from children through an account or cloud service.

8. Provider, international use, and changes

ClockCards is provided by Rida Melkaoui, an independent developer based in Morocco. Apple and RevenueCat may process purchase data in other countries under their policies and safeguards.

This policy may change when the product, providers, or applicable requirements change. Material revisions receive a new effective date before or when revised behavior is released.
